“Union Ministers, senior BJP leaders and I was delighted to welcome Head of Missions and top level diplomats from various nations for Diwali celebrations here at BJP Headquarters today. It has been a wonderful evening bringing out the true essence of Indian culture and values of friendship and togetherness,” Nabin wrote.

He also connected the Global Friendship Day celebration with the Prime Minister’s vision of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, which speaks about the significance of cooperation and friendship around the world.

Prioritize Relations with Other Nations

Dr Vijay Chauthaiwale, the Foreign Affairs Department in-charge of the BJP says the deliberations went into highlighting Indian cultural heritage and festive traditions, and in developing goodwill, friendship and people-to-people ties making the country a better place in the world.

The celebration was attended by Union Ministers, senior BJP leaders and the diplomatic representatives, where they experienced the Diwali Celebration of India.

This was after the first National Executive meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM). The meeting was organised at BJP’s Extension in the headquarters building along the Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg in New Delhi.

The Diwali Milan Samaroh was a part of the party’s efforts to reach out to the ambassacross the board: the festivity and cultural celebration of India were projected into a diplomatic ambience with the Diwali Milan Samaroh.
