NEW DELHI: Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya is set to hold a virtual meeting with Indian Medical Association today on the COVID-19 situation and preparedness.

However, the mortality rate stood at 1.19 percent with the cumulative death toll at 5,30,695, the updated data by the Health Ministry mentioned on Monday.
With the administration of 29,818 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 220.025 crores.
As per reports, less than 0.5 percent of International arrivals in the National capital until Sunday evening screened for COVID-19 have returned positive. Meanwhile, the AAP administration has begun uplifting its COVID centres. District officials have been instructed to inspect hospitals and take stock of the preparedness for any emergency-like situation.
