Panipat. Advocate Sudhir Jakhar has filed a detailed application with the Election Commission of India (ECI) to register the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) as an official political party. This important step has been taken by Advocate Sudhir Jakhar. He has completed all the necessary formalities and submitted the application so that the party can actively participate in upcoming political activities.
According to available documents, the Cockroach Janata Party is seeking registration under Section 29A of the Representation of the People Act, 1951. Sudhir Jakhar has described this proposed movement as a “people-centric democratic initiative.” The new party’s primary focus will be on community service, constitutional awareness, and ensuring social accountability. Furthermore, the application also prominently lists environmental protection, animal welfare, and transparency in governance as the party’s primary agenda, reflecting its broad vision.
In its ten-point agenda, the Cockroach Janata Party has placed special emphasis on promoting and strengthening the fundamental duties enshrined under Article 51A of the Constitution of India. The application, signed by Sudhir Jakhar, clearly states that the party is fully committed to supporting democratic reforms through peaceful and constitutional means. The CJP has expressed its unwavering allegiance to the Constitution of the country, the principles of socialism, secularism, democracy, and republic, and has pledged to uphold the sovereignty, unity, and integrity of India above all else.
