New Delhi: Hardwar Dubey, a member of Rajya Sabha from BJP recently passed away at the age of 74. He took his last breath in Delhi. The veteran politician had been receiving treatment at a hospital in Delhi before his sudden deterioration on Sunday, which prompted his immediate transfer to the hospital.
Hailing from Agra, Dubey had a notable political career in Uttar Pradesh, having held various positions within the party. Yogi Adityanath tweeted expressing his grief, saying that, “I am deeply saddened by the demise of Honorable Rajya Sabha MP and former Minister of the Uttar Pradesh Government, Haridwar Dubey ji. My thoughts are with the grieving family. May Lord Shri Ram grant eternal peace to the departed soul and provide strength to the family to bear this immeasurable grief. Om Shanti!”
Dubey, a two-time MLA, was an active figure in Agra politics and served as a state minister. The news of his passing has left BJP leaders mourning his loss. Rajendra Agarwal, BJP MP of Meerut, also tweeted saying that, “I received the heartbreaking news of the demise of senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP, Hardwar Dubey ji. I pray for the departed soul to rest in peace and for the family to find strength in this difficult time.”
The political fraternity mourns the loss of Hardwar Dubey, remembering his contributions to the party and the state of Uttar Pradesh.
