Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh welcome second daughter, share adorable announcement

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh has become parents to another addition in the form of a baby girl to their family. The couple announced on Saturday, September 19, via social media of the arrival of their second daughter.

The Bollywood couple broke the news via a photo on their shared Instagram, which reads: “Welcome baby girl” with an evil eye emoji. Soon, fans and celebrities started to pour in love and congratulatory messages due to the short announcement.

Some celebrities and film industry associates such as Sonam Kapoor, Sara Arjun, Anil Kapoor and Kriti Sanon paid the couple a call of congratulations on the birth of their second child. The news of the new family member also generated a lot of reactions in the comments section of the posts.

There was also a certain similarity with Dua and how Deepika and Ranveer had announced the birth of both their daughters. The couple wed on 8th September 2024, and announced her birth using the same sentence, “Welcome baby girl.

In April, this year, Deepika and Ranveer had announced their second pregnancy, several months since they became parents for the first time. The couple has remained rather private in their family life, although they have revealed glimpses of significant moments to their fans from time to time.

Just a day before the birth of their second daughter, Deepika and Ranveer visited Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple along with Ranveer’s parents. Deepika who was pregnant then was wearing an orange kurta with purple saree and the young man Ranveer was dressed in a purple kurta with white trousers.

The couple has been blessed with their own daughter, Dua and now they start their second chapter of parenthood.
