NEW DELHI: The stage is all set for Parineeti and Raghav Chaddha who will be engaged today at the latters residence in Delhi. The engagement will be in Punjabi style full of naach, gaana and dhoom. The celebrations are expected to kick-start at 5 in the evening with a SukhmSahib Path followed by Ardas at 6 PM.
Bride’ sister Priyanka Chopra was spotted at Delhi airport sans husband and daughter. Hours later, Parineeti’ couturier Manish Malhotra was also clicked at the airport. Apart from them Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann among Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal politicians and Karan Johar, Pari’ close friend Sania Mirza are also included in thr gues list accessed by medi personnel.
The engagement theme is pastel. Guests according to sources have been informed to follow the theme. Around 150 are expected to grace the celebrations.The couple will reportedly dress in clothing that match in hue for the evening event. The actress will wear a subdued Indian attire made by couturier Manish Malhotra, while Raghav will wear a minimalist achkan created by his maternal uncle, fashion designer Pawan Sachdeva.
Media reports reveals Parineeti’s brothers Sahaj and Shivang are closely involved in the preparations, which includes food arrangements too. Since the guests list includes dignitaries from politics and the film industry, the special food menu has been curated which includes Indian dishes like kebabs and vegan cuisine.
