Mumbai: Prabhakar Sail, KP Gosavi’s personal bodyguard a witness in the drugs in cruise case has made startling allegations revealing pay-offs and extortion against NCB’s Senior Officer Sameer Wankhede and KP Gosavi. Sources report Shahrukh Kahn was demanded ransom over the detention of his son.
Filing an affidavit, Prabhakar sail claimed he overheard the conversation between Sameer Wankhede and one Sam D’Souza which included a deal of 18 crores, of which 8 crore was allegedly reported to be Sameer Wankhede’s share. On the same evening, a brief meeting between superstar Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani, Sam D’Souza and KP Gosavi has surfaced. The affidavit also claimed that Sam D’Souza was handed over cash by KP Gosavi. Later, he said, KP Gosavi met one Sam D’Souza who then got into separate cars and went to Lower Parel. “Till such time we reached Lower Parel KP Gosavi was talking to Sam on the phone and stated that you put a bomb of 25 crores and let’s settle at 18 final because we have to give 8 crores to Sameer Wankhede,” the affidavit read. He further added that he was provided information through a series of photos to help him identify the people on board the cruise.
A lookout notice has been issued against KP Gosavi after Sail filed an affidavit stating his disappearance. After Aryan Khan and others were taken into custody it is reported that Mr Sail signed blank papers on instructions of Sameer Wankhede and KP Gosavi.
Mumbai’s Special Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) court on 21 October extended the judicial custody of Aryan Khan and others till 30 October in connection with the cruise ship drug case. The Bombay High Court is scheduled to hear the bail plea of the 23-year-old on October 26th.
