Mumbai: Adah Sharma starrer movie, The Kerala Story has now crossed 150 crore Box office collections. Even after a vast number of controversies, the movie was released on 5 May. Within two weeks, the movie has reached the 150 crore mark which shows that it has been a blockbuster.

On Wednesday, the movie was not able to collect much as per the daily averages, still it managed to take its overall box office collections to a whopping 165 crore. The controversies regarding the movie were many, but it wasn’t able to stop it from being the second highest grossing Hindi film for the year 2023.

Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan also watched the movie and said that the MP Government will do all the required things to ensure that the state doesn’t have to suffer from situations like Kerala. Many states have already made the movie tax-free but West Bengal banned the movie.

The director took the matter to the Supreme Court. And in the latest hearing, Mamta Banerjee said that the movie contains manipulated facts which leads to hate speech. Due to this reason, the West Bengal Government banned the movie from the country.
