Popular television actress Surbhi Jyothi was the latest actress to join the mommy gang of the small screen industry. With husband Sumit Suri, Surbhi Joshi announced parenthood on June 14th.
The new parents took to Instagram with a joint announcement revealing the arrival of their daughter. The couple shared a beautiful pastel-themed poster that featured a delicate rose along with the message, “It’s a girl! 13th June 2026 Love Surbhi & Sumit.”
Alongside the poster, they penned an emotional caption expressing their gratitude and happiness as they stepped into parenthood.
Fans quickly caught the post and congratulatory messages and blessings for the newborn poured in. The actor, who remains widely recognized for her performances in shows such as Qubool Hai and Naagin 3 also wrote- “||ॐ|| Our daughter is here. Our hearts are filled with love and gratitude.”
Television personalities, including Karan Wahi and Kishwer Merchant, were among those who extended their best wishes to the new parents. Actress Aashka Goradia also wrote, “Congratulationssssss”, along with many red heart emojis.
The couple announced their pregnancy earlier this year. The baby shower was held recently with Surbhi’s mommy glow pictures flooding the internet. She dropped glimpses from the double celebration on social media with the caption, “Celebrating me and the lil one growing inside me.”
Surbhi got married to Sumit in October last year in presence of their family and friends. The lovebirds chose a hill station as their wedding destination.
At the work front, Surbhi is best known for her performances in popular shows like Qubool Hai,Naagin, Ishqbaaaz, Tanhaiyan and Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai. Her husband Sumit made his acting debut in 2013 with the adventure thriller Warning. He is seen in films like What the Fish, Babloo Happy Hai, Surkhaab and A Billion Colour Story and 14 Phere.
