Sonakshi Sinha and her longtime boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal are set to tie the knot on June 23 with all the pre-wedding functions planned. In particular, last week, a small Mehendi ceremony was attended by family and friends of the couple. Their recent photo clicked with friends shows that Sonakshi and Zaheer were truly happy after the wedding Sonakshi looked breathtakingly beautiful, and Zaheer cool and comfortable in a floral kurta.
Earlier in the day, Zaheer’s sister, Sanam Ratansi, posted a photograph from the Mehendi that showed Sonakshi and Zaheer enveloped in everyone’s embrace.
Responding to questions regarding the rumours about the wedding, Shatrughan Sinha, father of Sonakshi, dismissed those rumours and reassured Sonakshi’s lovers that he is behind his daughter and supports her in all the decisions she takes. He used the occasion to dismiss the falsehoods regarding their family and affirm that he would be attending the wedding.
On the other hand, insiders have said to media that Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding would be a star-studded event with a lot of Bollywood celebrities present, which rules out it is a private wedding affair. In fact some Bollywood actors like Aayush Sharma, Huma Qureshi, Varun Sharma and even Salman have been invited over as guests. Sonakshi has also extended invitations to her co-stars from the upcoming film “Heeramandi: In The Diamond Bazaar, which lists stars like Fardeen Khan, Taha Shah Badussha, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Sharmin Segal Mehta.
The preparation for their marriage demonstrates the couple’s happiness and encourages them, their friends and family, and everyone in Bollywood.
