Mumbai: The sequel of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa has become a hit at the box office. The box office collection of the much-awaited film Pushpa 2 was around Rs 175 crore in the initial days. It is expected that this film will continue to break more records across the world in the coming days.

Till now, the film Pushpa 2 has made the highest earnings from its Telugu version; on the first day, the Telugu version of the film collected around Rs 95.1 crore. The film earned around Rs 65-67 crore on its first day and became the biggest opener by beating Shahrukh Khan’s Hindi film Jawan. Till now the gross collection of Pushpa 2 has been around Rs 203 crore.

Despite the movie’s spectacular first-day earnings, industry insiders predict a slight decline on Friday, with an estimated 120–140 crore. The Hindi version is also expected to repeat its first-day business with another Rs 50 crore-plus day. The first day’s box office collection for Pushpa 2 was mostly attributed to its presales. Reports state that the film has made about Rs 50 crore from the sale of about Rs 4 lakh tickets.
