Decade of ‘Chennai Express’: SRK Fans Host Screenings in 50 Cities Before ‘Jawan’ Release

Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, who mesmerized audiences with their, on-screen chemistry in the 2008 film “Om Shanti Om ” reunited for another blockbuster called “Chennai Express ” directed by the filmmaker Rohit Shetty. A decade after its release in 2013, this beloved movie is still remembered as one of the most successful films of that year, receiving numerous accolades.

To celebrate the anniversary of this film and build up excitement for Shah Rukh Khan’s project “Jawan “, passionate fans have come together in an extraordinary way. The SRK Universe fan club has organized screenings of “Chennai Express” across 50 cities in India on August 9 2023, coinciding with its release date. 

The club announced this gesture by saying, “As we eagerly await #Jawan lets join hands in celebrating a decade of the #ChennaiExpress. We are bringing it to, than 50 cities to treat all our fans without any charge!”

Shah Rukh Khan’s professional journey continues to be filled with exciting projects. He is set to star in the anticipated film “Jawan ” directed by Atlee Kumar. The anticipated movie is set to release on September 7th. Features a stellar cast, including popular actors Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara.
