In this video, Akshay Kumar and Disha Patani took inspiration from the classic song “Uncha Lamba Kad” that featured Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the movie Welcome, which was a big hit in the year 2007.
Akshay Kumar took to Twitter and posted the promotional video of the film where he can be seen dancing to the music of the classic song along with actress Disha Patani. On the same social media platform, Akshay Kumar thanked the song by saying, “From our hearts to yours!! What a throwback; 18 years and still an all-time favourite. With so much nostalgia, beautiful Disha and I bring you Welcome to the Jungle. Never forgetting our Queen Katrina.”
Over the years, the Welcome franchise has gained huge popularity amongst Bollywood moviegoers. From the very beginning, Welcome movie, directed by Anees Bazmee, released in 2007, the franchise went ahead with another sequel named Welcome Back, released in 2015.
The movie has been directed by Ahmed Khan. The cast of the film is an incredibly huge one, which consists of actors like Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, and Jacqueline Fernandez. Having been set for release on June 26, 2026, the musical comes as a delightful reminder of the times gone by and has indeed managed to prove that Welcome madness lives even in the jungle.
