Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stole the show at the finale of the Cannes Film Festival in an experimental outfit. The Queen of Cannes made a bold closure with an off white tone pant suit adorned by feather and lace detailing.
The ensemble had custom white pantsuit by Cheney Chan couture, with silver embellishments along the lapel and dramatic feathered boa. She went for tonged hair adding volume-a refreshing departure from her usual middle parting. For the make up, she had nude lips, softly defined brows, and kohl-rimmed eyes.
For the first appearance on the Red Carpet this year, the Guru actor was seen in a sculpted creation by Amit Agarwal. Luminara-a silhouette with a shimmering colour story paired with Ash’s aura- created a high impact the moment she arrived at the French Riviera. The deep midnight blue tone with cosmic hints was inspired by the movement and force of light. Thousands of crystals were fixed in vein like trails creating an effect similar to lit pathways running along the body and emphasizing each contour.
The second appearance at Cannes was even more special, as the Bachchan’s grand daughter made debut. She stepped out in a dreamy pink gown for her second ensemble with Aradhya Bachchan by the side.
The mother-daughter duo turned heads as they arrived together for L’Oréal Paris’ annual Lights on Women’s Worth awards during Cannes 2026. Walking hand-in-hand with her mother, Aaradhya confidently embraced the glamour of Cannes in a striking ruby-red gown paired with a dramatic matching cape.
On the work front, Aishwarya appeared in both parts of the film Ponniyin Selvan in 2022 and 2023. She played the role of Nandini in the film. Aishwarya’s role was widely appreciated. As of now, there are no updates regarding Aishwarya’s new projects.
