Gujarat: The State board results for Class 10 in Gujarat were declared today. The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) announced the news at 8am. The overall pass percentage this year is recorded at 83.6% with girls outperforming boys.
The students can check the results on the official website entering their six-digit seat number under the SSC 2026 Exam result window. Students can also access results by sending their exam seat number to the WhatsApp number 6357300971.
Around 6 lakh students attempted the exams in Gujrati medium while only 1 lakh chose English medium. Other mediums included Hindi with about 16,000 students, followed by Marathi, Urdu and Oriya. Over 35m508 student secured A1 grade, while over 90,000 managed to secure A2. A candidate must obtain at least D, in order to qualify the subject, the board mentioned.
As per the board, students must secure at least 33% marks over all in each subject to pass. Supplementary exams are likely to be held for those who failed in the last week of June. Meanwhile, student can also apply for rechecking of the answer sheets on the website two days from today. A fee of Rs 100 will be charged for each subject. Additionally, any document verification or missing marks query must be submitted through the school Principal by May 21, 2026.
