New Delhi: The CBSE re-evaluation portal was hit by another trouble, after several students reported that the portal stopped working shortly after it was launched on Tuesday. Many candidates reported to have faced login issues, payment errors and slow loading while trying to submit their applications.

The CBSE after facing heavy controversies launched the re-evaluation portal on June 2. The portal as per announcement made the board was to be open by June 1 however, the page remained under maintenance. Due to the downtime, students were unable to apply for re-evaluation yesterday. Now, the downtime of the CBSE portal is fully live, and students can apply.

Candidates who wish to apply for the re-evaluation process and verification can find the direct link to do it on the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in. Only those candidates who have applied for photocopies of answer books are eligible for re-evalutaion.

The applicant will have to refer to the marking scheme in the subject concerned, which will be available on the website along with the question paper. Thereafter, candidates can submit an application for re-evaluation in the required question(s) with reasoning.

For verification and revaluation, candidates will have to pay ₹500/- per answer book for verification and ₹100/- per question for reevaluation.
