Sources close to the matter state that Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon announce the results of the Class 12 board exams for 2026. Students across the country are getting excited to see the result links and have been advised to have their login details ready to avoid delay once the result links are activated.

Rumours have been rife since then and more recently, DigiLocker rolled out a ‘Coming Soon’ notification on its platform regarding release of CBSE Class 12 digital marksheets, suggesting that the official announcement is now near.

The CBSE senior secondary examinations were held across the country and outside between February 17 and April 10 and a total of nearly 18.6 lakh students appeared for the exams this year. Last year, the board announced the results on May 13 with 88.39 percent of the test takers passing overall.

The students will get their marksheets available for them to check and download from various official platforms like CBSE websites, DigiLocker and UMANG app. Candidates have to provide the information such as Roll Number, School Number, Date of Birth and Admit Card ID as given in the admit cards to get the result.

The digital marksheets will contain the following information: Subject Wise Theory and Practical marks, Project marks, internal assessment marks, Status of qualification, Positional grading marks, Subject details etc. It is advised that students check their personal and academic details mentioned in the scorecard after downloading, carefully.

The date and time for the declaration have yet to be officially announced by CBSE officials. But, the recent updates of DigiLocker have built anticipation that it might be released very soon.

Students have also been advised not to panic due to the delayed results and rumours floating around online and to only seek information from official sources about the CBSE Class 12th results.
