According to police, the gym owner was shot dead by two masked unidentified bike-borne men while giving a fitness class during a training session to his clients at an early morning in Hansi, Haryana. The horrifying incident happened around 05:30 AM near Fawara Chowk and has left people in the area in shock. Police are conducting an investigation and are looking for the gunmen, which they fled quickly after the shooting.
The victim, named Kapil, was engaged in a fitness session when the attack occurred with 6 or 7 people involved in the fitness session. The photos show CCTV cameras filming Kapil as he teaches his clients as they perform step ups in a staircase close to some shops that have their blinds closed. Shortly afterward two men came on a motorcycle and one man supposedly opened fired without provocation.
Panic broke out as gunshots erupted among the participants in the video. The client ran away as soon as they saw the gun firing at Kapil, who was still firing. The attackers used about 10 shots before escaping from the site, says Vinod Shankar.
Police stated that Kapil recently relocated his fitness centre to another place inside Hansi. The investigators are covering every conceivable angle, whether it’s a local, business or personal disagreement, in search of a motive.
Authorities have also taken depositions from family members. However, Kapil’s mother told police that they had known of his court marriage, which happened almost three years ago. CCTV footage and evidence is being analysed and suspects are being sought.
The attack, which occurred during the harsh light of day, has sparked worries of safety and urged prompt action for those responsible. Police has assured that they are in pursuit of the accused to bring them to book.
