Technology: Sony has launched a new playstation 5 that entails 4k Blu-Ray drive with a digital edition. The PS 5 can be placed vertically and horizontally, it comes with the next generation, Dual sense controller. The announcement of the hyper-tech playstation was made during a digital event.
The game has been invented by a Japanese technology with two key features to be noted- ‘Digital Edition without disk drive and another one is, the virtual or horizontal placement as per the convenience. PS 5 is equipped with a dual sense controller. The futuristic design helps to designate the individuality of the Sony from Microsoft upcoming Xbox series X. PS 5 includes camera, headphones and remote control.
Sony has been trying to update its features as per the requirement of the users. In March PS lead system Architect; Mark Cerny said that the new idea would include an eight-core CPU based on AMD’s 7nm process and a custom AMD RDNA 2-based GPU along with 16 GB of GDDR6 RAM and Solid State Drive (SDD). The PS 5 can support 8K graphics, 4K graphics at a 120Hz refresh rate, and 3D audio.
The PS 5 can support the games that were compatible with PS 4 games. During the live stream announcement, the PS 5 has shown some samples that include some high profile games such as Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Gran Turismo 7, Resident Evil 8, Horizon Forbidden West and so on.
The price of the new PS 5 has not been revealed yet. However, the key features have already been discussed with the people during a long hour of a live stream.
