Kondagaon: CM Sai will inaugurate development works worth over Rs 127 crore in Kondagaon today. As per the scheduled programme, he will reach Kondagaon from Bastar at around 3 pm. Further, CM Sai will participate in the Budha Dev Mahotsav organised at Vikas Nagar ground. During this, he will inaugurate, perform Bhoomi Pujan and lay the foundation stone of 61 development works costing Rs 12711.92 lakh. These include 35 inauguration works – costing Rs 4345.88 lakh. 26 foundation stone laying and Bhoomi Pujan works – costing Rs 8366.04 lakh.

Jamyang Tsering Namyang’s Chhattisgarh tour

Today is the second day of Chhattisgarh SIR in-charge and former Ladakh MP Jamyang Tsering Namyang’s visit to Chhattisgarh. Today, he will travel to Kondagaon, where he will hold a divisional meeting regarding SIR.

It is worth noting that on Sunday, the former MP had held a meeting in the BJP office, in which he had given instructions to the officials regarding the SIR process going on in Chhattisgarh.

Open school exam begins today

The third main-opportunity examination for 10th and 12th grades, conducted by the Chhattisgarh State Open School, will begin tomorrow, November 17th. The exam is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. On the first day, the 10th grade will be Marathi and the 12th grade will be Hindi. The exams will continue until December 1st. Preparations for the exams have been completed. According to instructions issued by the Open School, even if a government holiday or local holiday is declared during the exam period, the exams will remain as scheduled.

Meanwhile, the Congress party has intensified its strategy for the SIR (Special Intensive Revision) campaign launched in Chhattisgarh. A one-day workshop will be held tomorrow at Congress Bhawan, Tilda, starting at 3 p.m. The training session will be led by Shailesh Nitin Trivedi, former Congress Communications Department President and in charge of the Raipur Lok Sabha SIR and head of the training committee.

The state Congress has appointed a state-level master trainer for the workshop. Rahul Tejwani, in charge of the SIR control room for the Balodabazar Assembly constituency, has been assigned the responsibility. Tomorrow, Rahul Tejwani will train BLAs, Mandals, Sectors, and Booth Presidents on SIR. The Congress party wants vigilance at the booth level to ensure transparency and ensure no voter’s name is deleted without reason. Shailesh Nitin demanded that the SIR process be extended by three months. Trivedi stated that paddy procurement is currently underway in the state, and farmers are busy. Therefore, the SIR deadline should be extended.
