Raipur: As the next DG-IG Conference is going to take place in Chhattisgarh, Raipur Police are creating security measures and developing an extensive inspection of crime control efforts in the capital of the state. An important conference is already being conducted at the C4 Auditorium within the control room, where the top officials of the department, such as IG and SSP, are instructing the city-wide planning action.
As indicated, the major concern of the meeting is dealing with the recent spike in cases of stabbing that has been experienced in Raipur. Authorities are defining areas of sensibility where such cases of incidences have been reported more predominantly. There are also discussions in detail on how to overcome the challenges of solving pending cases before the year ends.
The All India DGP-IGP Conference will take place in the 60th edition on the campus of IIM at Nava Raipur between November 28 and 30. Considering that the Prime Minister, Union Home Minister, almost 70 DG and IG rank officers in the country, and six special dignitaries were invited to the event, the police see the impending event as a big challenge as far as security management is concerned.
All ASPs, CSPs, and in-charges of police stations throughout Raipur are attending the meeting to ensure foolproof arrangements. Top officials are overseeing various teams and ordering them to carry flag marches, enhance night patrolling, take decisive action against anti-social elements, and watch the city more vigilantly concerning suspicious activities.
Police officials feel that organized campaigns, increased patrols, and close observation will hasten the crime concluding process, besides creating a solid and dependable security system throughout the high-profile national occasion. As the preparations have now been put into full swing, the Raipur Police have a goal to display an effective, alert, and disciplined system of security that is capable of managing the large-scale movement of dignitaries and ensuring the safety of the city.
