Bijapur: Violent Naxalite activities in the Bastar region show no signs of abating. A cowardly act by Naxalites has been reported from Kanker district. Two young men were murdered in Nella Kanker village, Usur block, on charges of being police informants. A team has been dispatched to the scene.
According to the information, the deceased have been identified as Ravi Kattam and Ravi Sodhi, both of whom are said to be residents of the same village.
Additional Superintendent of Police Chandrakant Govarna stated that police forces have rushed to the scene and are investigating the matter.
