Delhi is currently seeing a surge in H3N2 influenza cases, a type of influenza A virus. Hospitals across the national capital have issued alerts, and doctors are urging residents to stay aware of the symptoms and seek medical help as soon as you spot the first signs.

Delhi Health Minister Pankaj Singh assured people that there is no need to panic about H3N2 flu. He said that it is just a viral infection and is generally not serious. Minister Pankaj Singh said, “There is nothing to worry about H3N2. It is a viral infection and is not serious. People need not be afraid.” He said that the government and the health department are keeping an eye on the entire situation. Pankaj Singh clarified that this virus is just like other seasonal flu and with timely treatment and rest, patients recover quickly. Through this statement, the Health Minister tried to give relief to the general public and said that with caution and regular medical care, there will be no serious problems.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), it causes seasonal flu outbreaks and tends to mutate frequently, making it harder to manage than other flu strains. The virus spreads quickly, mostly through droplets from coughs, sneezes, or even talking. It can also spread when a person touches contaminated surfaces and then touches their face.
