Raipur: The meteorological department of Chhattisgarh on high alert. The next 24 hours in the state are conjectured to receive heavy rains. 

Various districts including the capital Raipur have recorded a drop in temperature. Air cyclones in the upper provinces intimidate rains in the state. 

RK Vaisya, a meteorological scientist, said,”  the cyclone is at an altitude of 0.9 km around central Maharashtra. The trough remains at an altitude of 1.5 km from North Karnataka to south-east Madhya Pradesh. The impact of which is likely to rain in many parts of the state with severe darkness. Similar fluctuations will continue in the weather.”

Districts to witness rains

Sarguja, Bilaspur, Balrampur, Surajpur, Jashpur, Pendra Road, Korba, Munttli, Bemra, Kawardha districts are under the scanner. In addition, weather changes in several districts will bring down the temperature. However, Raipur has witnessed cloudy skies on Wednesday.
