NEW DELHI: The maximum temperature is rising every day in the northern and central parts of the country. Due to this reason, the Indian Meteorological Department has given out warnings for heat waves across various states which include Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
The reports say that the maximum temperature in these regions will rise by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius. This will result in severe heat waves across the South Uttar Pradesh, West Rajasthan, and North Madhya Pradesh regions. The Indian Meteorological Department issued alerts for heat waves across these regions from 20 May to 23 May.
Along with that, the Indian Meteorological Department also said that the mercury levels across the plains will cross 40°C in temperature. The local divisions which have been told by the IMD have also given Yellow watch which means they have to watch for the local environment across these days.
The reports also said that from Tuesday, the western disturbances will be moving towards Northern India. This means that the Northern regions of the country are likely to experience rainfall during the next week.
