Ujjain: Ujjain Municipal Corporation Commissioner Anshul Gupta was removed today for negligence in work. The action has been taken just days before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s arrival in Ujjain. PM Modi shall visit MP on October 1 to inaugurate Mahakal Lok.
PM Modi will arrive 5:30 PM from Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport in Indore and will depart from the same. Tight security is almost certain as officials deploy at least 500 security personnel during state leader’s visit.
CEO Ujjain Development Authority Sandeep Soni is now given the additional charge of Ujjain Municipal Commissioner. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan inspected the preparations for PM Modi’s arrival. During this, he had received complaints regarding the functioning and behavior of the Municipal Commissioner.
Earlier, the administrator of Shri Mahakaleshwar temple, Ganesh Kumar Dhakad was removed as complaints against him were received since a long time.
