New Delhi: The Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has conferred awards to three IPS officer from the CG Police Department recognizing their smart policing methods at the annual conference on homeland security held in Delhi on Friday.
Raipur SSP Prashant Agarwal was awarded for’ Cyber Mitan Abhiyan’ for creating cyber awareness among people during his tenure in Bilaspur. Korba SP Santosh’ efforts in the “Samvedan Abhiyan’ were recognized – Samvedan Abhiyan was launches for assisting flood victims while posted in Raigarh. DIG Himani Khanna was conferred for campaign ‘Samarpan’ launched by PHQ with the objective of ensuring safety of elderly persons.
Apart from CG, officers from UP special task force were also conferred with the prestigious FICCI India Smart Policing Award 2021.
