Raipur: In order to facilitate the plan for the upcoming paddy purchase season, Agriculture Minister Amarjeet Bhagat will chair the meeting with concerned officials on Wednesday.
The meeting will be convened in the presence of Mandal Committee Group officials to discuss and plan custom milling policy and paddy purchase price for the upcoming Kharif year.
The meeting will be held at the committee room number S 12 located in Mahanadi Bhawan Ministry. Transport Minister Mohammad Akbar, Co-operation Minister Dr. Premsaay Singh Tekam, agriculture and farmers welfare Minister Ravindra Chaubey and Higher Education Minister Umesh Patel will be present at the meeting on Wednesday.
Along with the paddy purchase issue, the meeting will also focus on the situation of earning centres, extension, consumption and distribution of crops and its relevant maintenance.
Meanwhile, after the nation-wide protest of farmers on the issue of genuine price fixation of paddy purchase and other crops, this meeting in Raipur is being said to be very important.
