Moving on to its fifth day, the collections dip slightly in the wake of Mirzapur: The Movie but it continues its stellar run at the box office. Now the Ali Fazal and Pankaj Tripathi film has become the first one to collect Rs 125 crore in India net and is on the path to touching Rs 200 crore overseas.
The gangster drama grossed Rs 15.85 crore at the box office in India across 10,686 screenings on Tuesday as per the trade websites. It has hit its Indian gross collection of Rs 149.97 crore and domestic net collection of Rs 125.60 crore with this.
The movie has been a promising performer in the international market as well. It increased its overseas gross to Rs 27.5 crore in Day 5, up by Rs 3.50 crore. This means that as of now, Mirzapur: The Movie has transacted Rs 176.97 crore globally as far as the films box office revenue is concerned.
Its performance on the fifth day is welcome news to the filmmakers, given that the film didn’t experience significant fall-off on the post-festival days. It collected Rs 15.85 crore on Tuesday, recording a 0.9% dip from Monday’s collections of Rs 16.Its Tuesday collections stood at Rs 15.85 crore, which was just0.9% less than Rs 16, collected on Monday.
The movie enveloped Rs 16 crore net from India on Day 4 from 10,570 screens, increasing the domestic Net to Rs 109.75 crore. The company has already garnered Rs 154.05 crore in its world gross at that time.
Mirzapur: The Movie has consolidated its position at the box office and has seen peaks on weekdays in the close-to-the-hire of the National Open Paper competition. Now in the films look to sustain the rate and pick-ups the momentum for breach of Rs 200 crore overseas mark in the upcoming days.
