The state has set a target of 160 lakh metric tonnes for this season in the procurement drive that will continue until January 31, 2027. All registered farmers will be able to sell their paddy at the announced rate of Rs 3100 per quintal. A purchase limit of 21 quintals per acre has been set.
The procurement drive was announced open by CM Vishnue Deo Sai during the Durg Pandwani Mahasammelan.

Farmers planning to sell paddy will need to complete online registration through the AgriStack portal, as specified in the reported procurement arrangements. Registering in thr portal is important for farmers seeking to sell their paddy at the procurement system. Procurement centres will use a token system to allocate dates for selling paddy. Farmers will need to follow their allotted schedule to complete the sale.
Besides, sources also reveal a biometric verification has been incorporated at procurement centres to support identification and improve transparency in the process.
