Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leaders met Union Minister JP Nadda to preserve a letter wherein they had mentioned their demands such as resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan from alleged paper leak and controversy in the NEET exams and other examination related issues.
According to CJP spokesperson Saurav Das, he and fellow spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka met Nadda at his residence for around 10 minutes and handed over a memorandum highlighting the group’s concerns.
Das said Nadda assured them that he would raise the issues internally but did not make any formal commitment.
“The minister assured us that he would discuss this at the appropriate level; however, no commitments have been made yet. Peaceful protesters will not cease from their march till our demands are accepted,” Das added on the post on X.
The memorandum called out the alleged CUET examination delay, IAS member, Dharmendra Pradhan’s role in the NEET 2026 paper leak scandal, and a delay in exams at the CBSE Class 12 portal.
CJP had also contended that the Education Minister had failed to take any steps to improve the system and blamed administrative incompetence in dealing with examination-related issues.
Hundreds of CJP supporters took to the streets of central Delhi earlier in the day, trying to march on Parliament, calling for their demands.
The Delhi Police police stopped the march and dispersed its protesters on the ground of prohibitory orders issued in the entire high-security zone.
The protest comes as part of CJP’s push for accountability for alleged examination malpractices and is asking for improvements in the education system.
