Raipur. Hosted by Chhattisgarh, the Khelo India Tribal Games were held at the Science College Ground in Raipur. The Karnataka team continued its impressive performance, topping the medal tally with eight gold, three silver, and one bronze medal. Meanwhile, the Odisha team is in second place with five gold, one silver, and eight bronze medals.
Assam is in third place with two gold and three silver medals. Host Chhattisgarh is in sixth place with two silver and two bronze medals so far. Anushka Bhagat, representing Chhattisgarh in the swimming events on Thursday, won silver in the 200-meter individual medley.
Earlier, Anushka had won silver in the 100-meter breaststroke. Chhattisgarh lost in hockey, while the football match ended in a draw. Chhattisgarh’s players failed to even open their account in weightlifting.
