The last episode of Mann Ki Baat was aired today by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he talked to the citizens of India. The Prime Minister in his speech looked back at the key challenges, achievements and milestones of India in the last year. The broadcast was covered on the All India Radio and Doordarshan networks, the AIR News web site, and the Newsonair mobile application and live-covered on the YouTube channels of AIR News, DD News, the Office of the Prime Minister of India, and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The programme was also broadcasted in regional languages after the Hindi version.
In the 129 th episode of Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi emphasized the way faith and culture unite with the unique heritage of India in 2025. He claimed that the big organization of the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh in the start of the year astonished the globe, and the hoisting of the flag in the Ram Temple in Ayodhya in the end of the month of the year was something that gave every Indian pride. He observed that these happenings were a symbol of civilisational power and culture in India.
The Prime Minister also mentioned the increasing popularity of indigenous products, claiming that people started to favor those products more, which were produced by Indian workers. He explained that this change was connected to the increase of self-confidence and self-sufficiency, and proudly said that 2025 only reinforced the faith of India.
Focusing on the successes in science and space, PM Modi mentioned that India achieved much in those areas in the year. He said that Shubhanshu Shukla was the first Indian to enter the International Space Station.
Another aspect of sport success was also part of the speech. PM Modi told the nation it was a memorable year in Indian sports, with the male cricket team of India having won the ICC Champions Trophy, the female team becoming the first-time winners of the World Cup, and the female blind cricket team making history by becoming the first in the Blind T20 World Cup.
