RANCHI: President Draupadi Murmu will visit Jharkhand on a three-day visit. Changes have been made to Ranchi’s traffic rules in connection with this. The President will arrive in Ranchi on December 28, 29, and 30, 2025, and will be visiting various places. For this reason, special traffic arrangements have been implemented in Ranchi city on all three days.
Major traffic changes have been implemented for three days in connection with the three-day visit of Indian President Draupadi Murmu to Jharkhand. These will directly impact both heavy and passenger vehicles. Due to security reasons, the movement of all types of vehicles will be completely stopped for an hour on many routes. Several important traffic changes have been made in the capital Ranchi in connection with President Draupadi Murmu’s three-day visit to Jharkhand.
On December 28th, the route from the Harmu Bypass Airport to Lok Bhavan will be closed from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. On December 29th, all routes from the airport to Harmu Bypass and Lok Bhavan will be closed from 9:30 am to 10:30 am and from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. On December 30th, all routes from Lok Bhavan to Ranchi Airport will be closed from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
The most significant traffic issue regarding the President’s visit to Jharkhand is the closure of all vehicular traffic on the road from Lok Bhavan to Ranchi Airport for one hour for three days. Ranchi Traffic Superintendent of Police, Rakesh Singh, stated that traffic from Lok Bhavan to the airport will be halted for one hour each on December 28th, 29th, and 30th during the President’s arrival and departure.
