The celebration of the birth anniversary of the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti, is done with a lot of reverence and enthusiasm every year. The religious festival will take place on December 27 in 2025. The day is more than a religious celebration; it is a sign of bravery, sacrifice, and the unswerving dedication to the defence of righteousness and justice.
Guru Gobind Singh Ji spent his whole life serving humanity and faith. In 1699, he established the Khalsa Panth that motivated people to be fearless towards injustices and oppression. His life lesson is that truth, courage, equality, and disinterested service are the pillars of genuine religion.
During the Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti, special prayers, kirtans, ardas, and langars are held in the gurdwaras throughout the country. Religious followers bow down and offer adoration to the Guru Granth Sahib and seek blessings. Special religious and cultural programmes marking the teachings of the Guru and the heroic legacy of the Guru are held in Punjab, Delhi, and a number of other states.
