In a major announcement, US President Donald Trump has declared to take’ total control’ of oil and gas in Iran just like Venezuela. Taking to Truth social. Donald Trump, wrote- “The United States will be hitting Iran (Whose Navy, Air Force, Radar, Anti Aircraft, and all other forms of Defense, together with most its offensive capability, are GONE!), VERY HARD TONIGHT.”
“At some point in the not too distant future, we will be taking Kharg Island, and other oil infrastructure points, and assume total control of their Oil and Gas Markets, much like we have with Venezuela, which is working out brilliantly for both Venezuela and the United States of America,” the post added.
In a related development, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth even said that if the US needs to, it will “negotiate witb Bombs” as he warned US would continue attacking Iran until it agrees to its nuclear terms. “Central Command will be busy tonight because President Trump said, ‘ We will be hitting Iran hard, and we will be,” Hegseth told reporters after receiving operational briefings from CENTCOM commanders.
Earlier on Wednesday, the US in what it called ‘ self defence strikes’ attacked multiple targets inside Iran second day in a row. In response to which, the Iranian military targeted military bases of the US in Kuwait and Bahrain. The US administration had also issued an advisory for Jordan alerting it about the recent attacks.
Additionally, Iran said the Strait of Hormuz was closed — a claim the US military rejected. A senior Iranian official told reporters in Tehran that Iran would “respond more severely” to any future attacks.
