US President Donald Trump has indicated that there is still one or two remaining targets in Iran to be taken care of by Washington, and Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has threatened that if Washington and any other adversary posed a threat to Iran, it would be met immediately.

The US had already eliminated Iran’s nuclear program, Trump said Saturday in an interview with reporters at his home in Florida, but there were some “locations” that required additional attention.

“We’ve knocked out their nuclear. We still have to clean up, I would say, 1 or 2 spots, but it can be done in 10 minutes.

Trump Mentions Pickaxe Mountain

The other is Pickaxe Mountain, which is associated with Iran’s nuclear program, and was mentioned by the US President.

You can see Pickaxe Mountain, “and you have to take care of this,” he told reporters “all very quickly.”

Trump was also asked if there was a possibility the U.S. could strike Iran again this week. But he didn’t give any definite deadline.

Negotiations Continue Amid Rising Tensions

But Trump insisted negotiations with Iran continued despite his comments about possible military action.

“Going fine but you know they’re not very reliable,” he said, commenting on the ongoing discussions.

The Azerbaijani president’s comments followed a veiled threat by Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, to take action “immediately” against any threat from the United States and Israel.

Since before he took office in March, after his father Ayatollah Ali Khamenei died in the US-Israeli attack, Khamenei has not been seen in public before.

New remarks come as the United States and Iran appeared to be in a drift away from each other following a new round of diplomatic negotiations and escalating risks of military confrontation.
