Moscow: Darya Dugin, the daughter of Alexander Dugin, the main known to be the closest aid to Russian President Vladimir Putin, was allegedly killed in a car bomb explosion today morning. The crash occurred when Darya was travelling with her father back home. Sources revealed that the explosion was an alleged plot to kill her father, famously known as ‘Rasputin’, the brain of Russian President.
Alexandar Dugin was invited as a guest of honor along with his daughter at a festival at an estate near Moscow. The philosopher gave a lecture there and were scheduled to travel back from the event in the same car before Mr. Dugin decided to travel separately from his daughter at last minute.
Investigators have confirmed that Darya Dugina died at the scene near the village of Bolshiye Vyazemy. The investigating team further confirmed that an explosive device had gone off before the car caught fire.
Alexandar Dugin is said to be the mastermind behind Russia’s invasion to Ukraine. His daughter was an occult writer and was well-known for her far-right ideology. She was included in the UK sanctions lists in July this year. Earlier in 2015, US imposed sanctions on Alexander Dugin cutting business ties and freezing his assets.
