The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has asked the collectors of all affected and affected areas, and issued directions that they continue to stay vigilant as there is a possibility of receiving heavy rainfall throughout the state.
The Chief Minister directed district administrations to make advance preparation and ensured the mobilization of all necessary resources and keeping them ready for the event in case of any emergency situation.
CM Mohan Yadav had urged the authorities to stay alert especially in the wake of the warning of heavy rain on Friday evening and another threat of heavy rain in the north Madhya Pradesh on Saturday afternoon.
The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of the district administration being fully equipped and ready to deal with any situation that may occur from the weather.
He instructed officials to prepare in advance to have sufficient relief resources and rescue support, ready to call into action if an emergency arises.
The instructions come on top of the fact that parts of Madhya Pradesh are facing a possibility of heavy rainfall in the state likely to lead to water logging, flooding and disruption in the affected areas.
The district administration needs to keep an eye on the situation and take the required measures in response to the need on the ground, Yadav said. The administration has been urged to be prepared and arrange relief and rescue measures in advance before things get worse.
The Chief Minister’s directions have been issued to minimise the effect of these heavy rains and to respond quickly in case of emergencies.
