More than 18 lakh students in India are holding their breath as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to declare the much-awaited Class 12 board examination results soon.
As per an official source from the CBSE board, the declaration of the results is expected within the second week of May. In other words, the results are likely to be declared in the coming few days. The Class 12 results are the end result of many months of preparation by students who have taken the exams between February 17 and April 10, 2026.
The CBSE Class 12 board examination results for 2026 will become available on the result website of the board at results.cbse.nic.in. The students will have to enter their credentials to check the scores. The credentials will generally be the roll numbers of students.
Taking into account the heavy flow of traffic on the official CBSE website, the board is providing other methods by which students.
Considering the possibility of huge traffic on the official site, the board is offering several alternative ways for students to check their results. These include Digilocker, from where students can easily download the result and certificate in a digital format. The result will also be available via SMS for those who do not have easy access to the internet. Students can also check the result via the widely used UMANG App, along with the board’s official portal named Parinam Sangram.
The excitement is high amongst the students and their guardians, as the Class 12 result is usually an important factor in deciding their future academic and professional careers. Students are encouraged to prepare all necessary documents like their admit card and login credentials, so there won’t be any trouble at the time of checking the result.
