Bulandshahr: A heart-wrenching incident of crime against children came to light in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr district on Sunday, when a 16-year-old boy strangled his 8-year-old cousin sister to death.

The incident took place in the village of Baberu, where the boy, identified as Rahul, was living with his family. The victim, identified as Anjali, was visiting them from her maternal home.

On Sunday, the two children were playing in the fields when Rahul suddenly attacked Anjali and strangled her to death. He then buried her body in a nearby field.

The crime came to light when Anjali’s parents came looking for her and found her body. They informed the police, who arrested Rahul.

In his confession, Rahul said that he had been sexually attracted to Anjali and had tried to kiss her, but she had resisted. He then strangled her in a fit of rage.

The police have registered a case against Rahul under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) and are investigating the matter.

This is just one of the many cases of crimes against children that are reported in India every day. It is a reminder of the need to protect our children from such predators. We must all work together to create a safe environment for our children, where they can grow up without fear.
