Meerut: On Sunday night, the police apprehended SP leader Mukesh Siddharth in Delhi after he made controversial statements threatening to burn alive Dr. Somendra Tomar, the Energy Minister. The arrest took place swiftly, with the police reaching him at the Civil Lines police station. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday morning.
