The alleged donation stealing of Ram Temple, Ayodhya has left the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) shocked and hurt, stating it was a serious blow to the faith of millions of Lord Ram devotees. His statement that the incident has taken a deep blow to the sentiments of the Hindu society and that those holding up to the investigation must receive the maximum punishment as per the law is a must.
The Uttar Pradesh government, following a request from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the incident and legal proceedings have already begun, the RSS said.
The organisation also suggested the addition of ‘extras’ to the procedures for any such situations to build public trust and to avoid such mishaps, the temple trust should consider it as an exceptional case and establish adequate systems of administration and management. Hosabale also claimed that “anti-Hindu and anti-national forces” were trying to “exploit the controversy to tarnish the name of Hinduism and to create confusion among the followers of Hinduism.”
The RSS urged the Hindu society not to succumb to these alleged conspiracy plans till investigations proceed and asked all people of Hindu religion to be patient and wait.
