Lucknow: Om Prakash Rajbhar, the chief of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP), held a meeting with Central Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi. It is reported that Rajbhar is discontented with not being appointed as a minister in the Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh. Rajbhar, the head of SBSP, stated that he had an intimate meeting with the successful Home Minister, Amit Shah, to usher in the New Year.
Discussions included the current political situations in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, and the proposal to include the Bhar/Rajbhar caste in the Scheduled Tribes category. Rajbhar highlighted the need to expedite the report request to the Delhi government from the Uttar Pradesh government regarding this matter.
In addition to this, discussions were held on addressing social issues of the Banjara community, rectifying discrepancies in the caste certificates of the Gond and Kharwar communities, and ensuring the issuance of caste certificates by the government across all districts in Uttar Pradesh. Rajbhar emphasized the importance of adhering to the government order on caste certificates issued to the Banjara community, and the meeting delved into positive talks on crucial matters related to marginalized and oppressed sections of society.
