Bareilly: In the vein of Bharat Jodo Yatra, Congress’s UP Jodo Yatra is making strides in Uttar Pradesh, reaching Bareilly on Friday. During the journey, Ajay Rai, the chairman of the UP Congress Committee, asserted that the BJP government has nothing substantial beyond rhetoric in the face of double-engine governance. Rai criticized the BJP government and its leaders for remaining silent on public issues, emphasizing a growing clamor for change emanating from Uttar Pradesh.

Ajay Rai highlighted the transformative impact when Uttar Pradesh awakens, suggesting that shifts in Delhi’s political landscape follow UP’s dynamism. The enthusiasm witnessed during the UP Jodo Yatra indicates a fervor for change among the people. The leadership of the Yatra, led by Mirza Ashfaq Saklaini, the District Congress Committee President, along with City President Ajay Shukla and State Spokesperson Dr. K.B. Tripathi, was welcomed by Congress supporters.

Omveer Yadav, the Secretary-General of the State Congress Committee, remarked that this Yatra, connecting with the masses, is steering towards a new era in politics. Former Chairman of Mirganj Municipal Council, Ilyas Ansari, also addressed the gathering. Officials noted that the UP Jodo Yatra is a significant indicator of substantial changes in politics, resonating with the aspirations of the people.
