Amritsar. Bollywood actress and owner of IPL team Punjab Kings, Preity Zinta, reached Sachkhand Shri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) in Amritsar today to pay obeisance. During this, she bowed her head in the Gurudwara and prayed for ‘Sarbat Da Bhala’ (well-being of all) and thanked Waheguru Ji. There was a lot of enthusiasm among the Sangat to get a glimpse of Preeti Zinta. After paying obeisance in the Gurudwara, Preity Zinta went to the Langar Hall and also served. She served Langar to the Sangat with full devotion. Her simplicity and spirit of service won the hearts of the people present there. During this, many devotees also got their photographs taken with her.
Speaking to the media, Preity Zinta said, “We just received a call from Baba Ji, and we came.” She explained that her team has an important match on the 11th, and she has come to pray for Punjab’s victory at the feet of Waheguru. She expressed confidence that with Waheguru’s blessings, the team will perform brilliantly and strive to win all upcoming matches.
Speaking about Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer, Preity said that the people of Punjab lovingly call him “Sarpanch,” which is a matter of great honor and pride. Expressing gratitude to the people of Punjab, especially the youth, she said that the love and support the team receives is their greatest strength.
