Gurdaspur: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Aam Aadmi Party’s convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal are set to address a massive development revolution rally in Gurdaspur on December 2. The rally follows the inauguration of the newly constructed bus stand, emphasizing a series of development projects.
The AAP has been conducting rallies in every parliamentary constituency, with the Gurdaspur rally marking the fifth in the series. Mann and Kejriwal will inaugurate the bus stand and the Deenanagar tehsil complex. In addition to unveiling the modernization of the Chini Mill Paniyad, various bridges, and overpasses, they will lay the foundation stone for several development projects worth hundreds of crores.
Preparation at both the party and administration levels is underway, with the party assigning responsibilities to MLAs and senior leaders in all assembly constituencies of the Gurdaspur Lok Sabha area. Post the bus stand inauguration, it is planned to organize the development revolution rally on the Improvement Trust’s land nearby. The rally venue will feature tents, different stages, parking facilities, and arrangements for the attendees’ meals.
Assembly-level leaders have been entrusted with the preparations for the party-level rally. A senior party leader noted that only leaders from the Gurdaspur Lok Sabha constituency have been assigned responsibilities, aiming to gather one lakh people at the rally. As part of their election strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, the AAP plans to conduct rallies in all 13 constituencies. So far, rallies have been held in Sangrur, Patiala, Amritsar, and Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha constituencies. The party is gearing up to continue its momentum, reaching out to voters across the state through these strategic rallies.
