Ujjain: Union Minister and Member of Parliament Chirag Paswan along with his family paid a visit to the auspicious Bhasma Aarti ceremony of Lord Mahakal at the world famous Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain on Wednesday at 4:00 AM. In the sacred Nandi Hall, he sat and saw the grand ritual and sought the divine blessings of Lord Shiva.

In front of his revered sanctum, Chirag Paswan was seen chanting the name of Shiva with deep devotion during the ceremony. Temple priest Mahesh Sharma performed a traditional welcome by applying a tilak to his forehead and garlanding him with a garland of flowers. The minister and his family followed the prescribed rituals, and Mahakal was worshipped in a spiritually enriching manner that was arranged for him.

Chirag Paswan was also welcomed at the temple management committee. Assistant Administrative Officers R.P. Gehlot and Ashish Dubey had honored him as a distinguished guest of the shrine.

Chirag Paswan spoke about his experience and thanked Lord Mahakal and said that he is very grateful and reverential for him. I am really fortunate to have participated and taken blessings of Mahakal along with my family in Bhasma aarti. “This divine experience lifts me spiritually and gives me positivity,” he said.

He said he always received so much from Mahakal. I lost everything one day, and today, due to His grace, I’ve gotten back far more than I had before.” His words contained faith, resilience and gratitude, and they not only referred to the deep reason behind his visit, but also to his relationship with God.

The presence of Chirag Paswan at Mahakaleshwar temple was a further proof of the deep faith of millions who vouch for Lord Mahakal’s divine power and blessings and a large mark of the historical and cultural picture of the temple as a very essential pilgrimage.
