Umaria: Two days ago, in Umaria district in Madhya Pradesh, the driver of the Naib Tehsildar was mercilessly beaten. Law enforcement caught one culprit while the other three remain on the loose. The clerk of the District collector has one of the suspect buildings demolished today because it was an illegitimate encroachment. This sad event happened at the Kotwali police station sector.
At the time of the occurrence, Naib Tehsildar of Chandia, Kaushal Singh, was on the roadside near the village Lodha on National Highway 43 while waiting for the arrival of the district collector. During this period, four to five perpetrators assaulted Rai, the driver, using rudimentary weapons such as sticks and clubs and later fled from the scene. The attack left Rai severely injured. He was then taken to a district hospital for medical treatment after sustaining the injuries.
The Naib Tehsildar said in his statement, “Some unknown persons attacked my driver and killed him. The incident is serious so I got initial medical treatment will soon be registered an FIR at Kotwali Police Station.” Responding to the carnage, ADGP D. C. Sagar, Commissioner B. S.
