In a major organizational accomplishment, the Narsinghpur Police, Madhya Pradesh, earned the ISO certification, 14 police offices, and 14 police stations have received the certificate for best practices in governance and public service.

The ceremony took place at the office of the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Narsinghpur where certificates were presented. In the presence of Superintendent of Police, Dr. Rishikesh Meena and Additional Superintendent of Police, Sandeep Bhuria, Inspector General (IG) of Police, Jabalpur Zone, Pramod Verma and Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police of Chhindwara Range, Rakesh Kumar Singh presented the certificates.

The 12 main police station offices along with the Reserved Inspector Office and the SP office have been ISO certified. This was awarded based on good governance, systematic records, an approach focused on the victims and timely redress of public complaints.

Spelling of his homage to the police team on Rendering of services to society. IG Pramod Verma congratulated the efforts being put in by the police team under the leadership of SP Dr. Rishikesh Meena towards enhancing the standards of administration and improving public services. He pointed out that the success is a test of the district police’s efforts in ensuring transparent, accountable and citizen-friendly policing.

The IG and DIG during their visit also inspected the arrangements and infrastructure of the office of the SP and appreciated the same. Additional measures and improvements to police standards and administrative effectiveness for future were discussed with officials.

On the occasion, an Indian Coffee House was also inaugurated at the police campus. Officials said that the institution will not only be useful to the police but will also be opened to all with a convenient space there will be for the residents and visitors of Narsinghpur.

Hopefully, the ISO certifications will drive even more excellence from local policing and strengthen the trust of the public in the law-violating services provided in the district.
